Amesbury Newborn Photographer, Sweet White Onesie Session for Baby Z

I first met beautiful Baby Z and his parents on a dull January day at the very beginning of 2022. He was a Christmas due baby who arrived a little before his due date, so they were the first family to visit my Amesbury newborn photography studio after the Christmas and New Year holidays.

He was super chilled for his session and loved to be held and snuggled by his smitten mummy and daddy! Our relaxed White Onesie style newborn sessions are perfect for capturing the love and connection between you and your snuggly new arrival.

Newborns absolutely adore to sleep on your chest, and Baby Z was no exception. Just look at the contentment on his sweet face! I love to capture your baby's favourite positions naturally during our newborn photography sessions so that you have those memories preserved forever.

White Onesie style newborn images are perfect for converting to a black and white edit for a truly timeless look. They are all about highlights and shadow, contrast and shading, which is what stunning monochrome newborn photography is all about. Black and white photographs always feel much more emotional to me! It's like you take away the distraction of the colours and are left with the raw emotion as the focus of the image.

Of course, no newborn photography session is complete without capturing those gorgeous tiny toes! Baby Z had a little bit of awake time for these images too, so I captured his amazing eye contact with his parents. Did you know, that your newborn's eyes can focus just the right distance to your face when you hold them in your arms? You really are the centre of their world.

Although most of the newborn photo shoot is less posed, during every newborn session I like to capture some smiling family portraits too!

It was while his parents were holding him that Baby Z fell back into a beautiful sleep to end the session.

Images which include parents hands are some of my favourites to capture as a newborn photographer. They are perfect for adding scale and capturing how tiny your newborn is!

They also give a feeling of the protectiveness and love that each parent feels for their new baby.

Baby Z was so relaxed that he was still fast asleep when we came to the end of his newborn session! A quick feed and he was ready to go home. In just a few hours we captured priceless images which will be treasured for a lifetime.
